This is what Wayne his
temporary foster said about him, "He is a male BT about a year old but has
very, very bad mange and has been abused. He cringes every time you get near
him. He was afraid of the camera and is afraid of the other dogs. He hasn't been
neutered and is not house trained. He seems okay in the crate. Apparently he was
dumped at the Hammond animal shelter and it looks like he has never had
any kind of vet attention - and probably has never seen a kind person in his
life. Sad, sad case; the worst we've had I think. On the next day he says:
"He has really come alive today. He is just fine with the crate....and he
gets along with everybody he doesn't take cold very easy because he has very
little fur. He cringes when you raise your hand but he's friendly and very, very
sweet."
Here is what I have
observed. Doodles is learning to intermingle with the other dogs. Sometimes he
gets a little overwhelmed and snippy with them ,but generally gets on well. He
is timid, but wants desperately to love you and get love. When you give him
attention he soaks it up like a sponge and he has a face that just melts your
heart. He likes to lean against the back of my legs when I am on the computer
and met pet the top of his back. Doodles wants to play the mouth game with you,
opens his mouth and wiggles it around your hand, but never bites down just
rubbing his mouth around on you. He is a precious boy and will be a joy to
someone who is willing to work with him and show him what love is. He is a
typical puppy. playful, needing obedience and house training.
