As they are a sanctuary only they depend upon donations so winning this Grant would help them tremendously. Photo of the Month Contest Rules
How to Enter:No donation, purchase or obligation of any kind is necessary to win the American Boston Terrier Rescue Photo of the Month Online Dog Photo Contest. A donation to ABTR will not increase your chances of winning the monthly contest. But should you choose to donate, all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. To enter the contest, follow these steps. You will be asked to answer a few questions about yourself, upload your photograph and answer some questions about the photograph itself. You must provide all requested information for your photo to upload and be accepted into the contest. All entries must be submitted by 5 PM, CENTRAL Time, on the 28th day of each month. Grant of Rights in connection with the contest. By entering the contest, you agree to grant to American Boston Terrier Rescue, its legal representatives, successors, and assigns, the nonexclusive right and permission to use, modify, adapt, reproduce, publish, and distribute the photograph, or any portion thereof, throughout the world, in any printed form and by any kind of mechanical or electronic or any other method or device of reproduction, publication, and distribution known or later developed, during the full term of the copyright, and without notification or payment, in connection with the American Boston Terrier Rescue Photo of the Month Online Dog Photo Contest. American Boston Terrier Rescue agrees that it will never sell the photograph or rights in the photograph to any individual or entity. Written descriptions must be in English. American Boston Terrier Rescue reserves the right to reject any contest submission if it does not meet the eligibility requirements described later in these rules, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. If your entry is rejected, it will be removed from the Contest website. EligibilityThe contest is subject to all applicable national, federal and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Eligible DogsAmerican Boston Terrier Rescue Online Photo of the Month Contest is open to the following pets: Bostons, Boxers, Pugs, French Bulldogs and other loved dogs. Non rescue animals may be in the photo if they are loved family members. We also reserve the right to remove any images from the contest that are not something we would deem appropriate to put on our website for all to enjoy. Eligible ImagesAny image that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by the Board of Directors of American Boston Terrier Rescue in their sole discretion, will be removed from the contest. How the Winners are DeterminedJudged Category: Members of the American Boston Terrier Rescue Board of Directors will select the best photographs and descriptions; entries will be judged on the quality of the photograph, the quality of the responses to the contest questions, and how well the photographs and responses convey the personality of the pet. The winner will be announced via the posting of the winning photo to our website on the 1st of the following month. Use of Email AddressesEmail addresses entered by contest participants will be used only for communications related to the contest. American Boston Terrier Rescue WILL NOT sell, rent, trade, or share its email addresses with any third parties. Limitation of LiabilityReleasees are not responsible for printing, typographical, human or other errors of any kind in any contest-related materials or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, or infection by computer viruses, bugs, or tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, actions of entrants, technical failures, or any other causes corrupt or infect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest, American Boston Terrier Rescue reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entry or entrant and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest and at its sole discretion choose the winner from among all eligible non-suspect entries validly received prior to the action requiring such modification. By entering, all contestants agree that the contest is governed by the laws of Texas for the resolution of all claims and disputes.
